Why You Should Date Like a Thief
Stealing someone’s heart is a lot like stealing their material possessions
When you think of a thief, your first thought is likely pretty harsh. You probably think they should go to prison, get a job and buy their own stuff, or maybe even be shot on sight.
A thief’s actions are wrong. But the way they go about what they do can benefit you. Specifically, you can apply a few tips from how a thief steals to how you date.
And if you do, you might be surprised at the difference it can make to your dating and relationships.
Be unafraid
A thief knows what they risk every time they steal: getting caught, getting shot, going to prison. Yet they do it anyway. They don’t let fear of the potential consequences stop them from going after what they want.
There are plenty of ways fear might stop you from dating if you let it. Learn from a thief and don’t let it. When fear comes slithering in, push forward anyway.
Reach out to that person you’re interested in. Go on the date you agreed to. Go on the second, third, or tenth date even if you’re afraid of where it might lead.
If you let fear get in the way, you’ll end up unhappy and alone. Push past it.
