A frequent question I see in regard to meditation is, what is the easiest style of meditation? It’s a good question, and honestly, I wish more people asked it. While meditation isn’t necessarily a difficult thing to do, there are some forms that are more advanced than others and thus, more difficult for beginners.

Of course, even a beginner can try a more advanced style of meditation if they want. But many people would prefer to ease into meditation with something a little easier so they set themselves up for more success.

So what is the easiest form of meditation? Well, that depends on you.

Guided meditation

As a rule, I believe that guided meditation is typically the easiest style of meditation. Guided meditations can take different forms, including:

· A teacher or narrator guiding you through an imagined location, scenario or story

· A teacher providing guidance on how to meditate, such as guiding your breathing, reminding you of a mantra, etc.
