What Dads Need to Make It as a Solo Parent
Single dads can be superhero parents just like single moms
My focus as a coach is on single moms, as I’m sure you’ve figured out by now. And there’s a reason for that: there are a lot more single moms than dads. And when we look at statistics, fathers are more likely to skip out on their kids than mothers.
But even though deadbeat dad has a nice alliterative feel to it, there are still plenty of single dads out there who are stepping up to the plate and knocking it out of the park. And there are plenty of them who feel like they have no idea what they’re doing or how they’re ever going to hack it as a single parent.
So this one’s for you, single dad who feels clueless. Sure, you can read all the articles aimed at single moms and just insert “dad” where it says “mom,” but sometimes it’s nice to read something that was written specifically with you in mind. And let’s face it, there are some things that are different for single dads than single moms.
