Very true! There are many options to try. And for those who struggle with focusing on the breath, trying other things is a great idea.
Personally, I have always been the kind of person (even before I learned about breath work) who tried to control my breath once I became aware of it. I actually found that I enjoyed challenging myself NOT to control it. To be able to simply be aware of it. I’ve gotten better at that.
I love full range sensory exploration and experience for meditation. But I also know that for beginners, the breath is often the easiest place to start.
