How to end 2020 on a good.. okay note.

This year has been a shitstorm for everyone. No one has escaped this year unscathed by the horrors that seemed to accompany the confetti and singing that brought in 2020. It may have been worse for some than for others, but the fact remains we’ve all been scarred by this year.

And many are looking ahead to 2021 as if it’s some magic cure. As if the calendar will flip from December 31, 2020 to January 1, 2021 at midnight and suddenly, life will be wonderful again. But will it?

Um… sorry to disappoint you, but probably not. Just like Y2K didn’t magically destroy the world in 2000, 2020’s nightmares won’t be contained by the end of a calendar year.

But that doesn’t mean you can’t look ahead to next year with a little excitement. And it also doesn’t have to mean that the disasters you’ve gone through this year need to be in vain.

While some of what you’ve gone through may have no silver lining or bright side, some of it does. And those are the things you need to look at.
