Single Moms: Where Are You Wasting Your Energy?
We all do it but we need to get rid of those energy wasters and focus on what matters
If you’re always feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, or frustrated and especially if you always feel like you’re behind the 8-ball, it just might be because you’re wasting your energy.
As a single parent, you have a finite amount of resources — and your energy is perhaps the most limited of those resources. You can’t afford to waste even a drop of your energy on anything that doesn’t matter.
And yet, just like everyone else, we have a tendency to waste a lot of energy on things that not only don’t matter but also don’t change anything.

Energy Waster #1: Holding grudges
The first energy waster is holding grudges. It might be a grudge against your ex for their behavior during your marriage or for not parenting the way you think they should. It might be against a friend or relative who implied or outright said you couldn’t handle being a single parent. It could be a million other grudges against a million other people for a million other reasons.
