I've got one who moved out and one who still lives at home. It's hard either way. I find myself back and forth between wishing they were both moved out and both still living at home. I think it's just the knowledge that they're adults and we have no say over what they do that is hardest. Not because we want control necessarily but because we worry about them making mistakes that maybe can't be fixed or could make a huge negative change in their lives. We want to protect them and yet we can't. It's up to them to protect themselves and we worry about whether they're doing it at all, doing it enough, doing it in the right times and places...

Being a parent, regardless of your child's age, is just plain hard! lol
