Help Your Kids Love Nature This Summer

Whether you’re looking for more space to practice social distancing, or just want to instill a love of nature in your kids, here are some tips for making nature fun.

There have been so many changes over the last few weeks. School is done at home now. People are wearing masks in public. Plans are being canceled or dramatically changed to accommodate social distancing and protecting health.

Which is why this summer is the perfect time to instill a love of nature in your kids. You can get out into nature while still keeping your distance from others. Nature does wonders for both mental and physical health — both of which are very important right now.

But just sending the kids into the backyard to play by themselves may not be enough to really instill that love of nature you want them to have. Instead, try these ideas.

Get out in your own backyard

The first step to loving nature is to merely become familiar with it. And there’s no better place for that than your own backyard.
