There are a couple of different ways to look at being in your 40s. One is that you’re halfway to death, so you don’t have time to mess around. The other is that you’re in the prime of your life, with plenty of years left and enough life experience to live them with more ease than before.

I prefer to take the second approach, particularly when it comes to dating. And while every woman is unique, and we’re not all looking for exactly the same things, I do believe there are some things we all seek.

If you’re looking to date a woman in her 40s, here’s what you should know she’s definitely looking for.

No games

By the time she turns 40, a woman has gone through more than enough games with men (or women). She’s picked apart enough texts, analyzed enough conversations, and questioned her own worth more than enough times.

She doesn’t mind a good flirtation. And she’s up for some sensual teasing. But if your idea of fun and games is to make her wonder if you’re really interested, or to be vague about what you’re looking for, she’ll keep moving.
