Family disagreements don’t have to be entirely negative
If you’re a single parent through divorce, you may be uncomfortably familiar with family arguments — specifically with your former spouse — and so you try to avoid them because you associate them with loss. And if you became a single parent through the loss of your spouse, you may go out of your way to avoid arguments, distinctly aware that at any moment, it could be your last words to someone you love.
