4 Ways to Slow Yourself Down When Trying to Do Too Much

As a homeschooling single mom and a business owner, I’ve always got plenty to do. Whether it’s for work, for my kid’s education, or just for our family in general, there’s no shortage of tasks on a never-ending to-do list. And sometimes that makes me feel overwhelmed and like I need to work faster, harder, and longer.

But of course, that kind of pressure doesn’t make the feeling of overwhelm any better. In fact, it usually makes it worse. That’s why I’ve found four simple ways I can slow myself down when I’m trying to do too much. And why do I want to slow myself down when I have so much to do?

Because here’s the secret: when I can slow myself down, I can see things more clearly, reorganize so the important stuff gets done, and ultimately, get a lot more done.
