As the days grow shorter and the nights grow longer, summer activities have lost their appeal or aren’t an option anymore. That doesn’t mean the fun has to stop, though. Take a look through this list and you’re sure to find at least one thing to do with the kids this fall that everyone will love.

Find your local corn maze

Corn mazes exist in the summer, but there’s something about getting lost in one in the autumn that’s special. Maybe it’s the pressure of finding your way out before darkness falls or the scratchy rustle of drying stalks of corn that lends an air of spookiness even in the daylight.

But corn mazes aren’t a specially designed trap set by children living in the corn. They’re loads of fun, whether you simply wander through one or find one that’s got some extra flair.

Some corn mazes include scavenger hunts, questions or riddles at intersections, and other fun extras. You can also find mazes that are smaller or shorter in height, specifically for the littles so they can enjoy the fun without feeling overwhelmed.
